About this role
Spaarkd is on a mission to make premium fashion and custom merch accessible to everyone. The platform lets creators, brands, and teams design their products and get them produced by top-tier factories, eliminating the traditional barriers of high minimums, warehouses, and quality compromises.
I lead the React Native mobile app from zero to production alongside the CTO, shaping how creators bring their merch vision to life. I also inherited a critically broken 2D product customization editor and rebuilt it from scratch in under two months, eliminating every performance bottleneck and restoring a non-functional undo/redo system that was blocking every editing session.
Working alongside the CTO and two engineers, I helped establish the technical foundation the product is now being built on.

Inherited a critically broken product customization editor. Eliminated all performance bottlenecks, removed legacy code, and shipped a production-ready experience that unblocked users.
Restored the undo/redo system
Built a robust history engine from scratch, eliminating a critical UX blocker that was affecting every editing session.
Led React Native mobile app to production
Owned full UI architecture, visual design system, and interaction patterns for a brand new mobile product alongside the CTO and 2 engineers.
